The Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve was created on August 9, 1979. It is located in the Peruvian departments of Arequipa and Moquegua and has an area of 366,936 hectares.
The area includes several volcanoes such as Misti, Pichu Pichu, Chachani, Tacune and Ubinas, mountains and lagoons, including the Salinas lagoon.
ITINERARY:
– 6:10 AM Meeting point Plaza de Armas (in front of the Cathedral)
– 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. pick up from hotels (historic center)
– 7:30 First stop. We will have breakfast in the town of Chiguata
– 9:20 a.m. We arrive at the Salinas National Reserve (sighting of llamas, alpacas and vicuñas)
